The oil weathering that started last weekend is now at a stage I’m happy to call almost complete. There is a little cleanup to do, and then weathering powders to finish off.

I’m going to do some more of that cleanup tonight, having given the oils some time to go off. Otherwise, you’re really just blending further and not removing. Sitting under the ducted heating vent they seem to get pretty dry, pretty fast.
My next day off is not until July 10th. So this project will sit for a time. Then it will be onto the powders, reassemble and call her done.
