As I model the years between the introduction and withdrawal of the AAR Plate B RBOX cars (1974 – 1985) I’ve been on a mission to gather data on these cars over the last 10-15 years.
In this section there are history, modelling, and data pages on the cars to assist you with your modelling of the original RBOX fleet. Additionally I’ve added a data set for the AAR Plate C RBOX cars. These remained in TTX service after the original cars (Plate B) were handed back to the financing railroads.
