Weathering in nature takes many forms and depends greatly on location, moisture content, ground cover, the components of the soil, tree cover and the amount of sun in the area, and the era in which in which the model is used. Multi-media weathering has allowed me to best meet my goals of replicating the effects of weathering on painted surfaces.
